The clerk serves as the point of contact for residents with questions about the village and acts as liaison between residents and the Board of Trustees. The clerk is responsible for Board meeting minutes, filing, publishing and posting notices related to resolutions, local laws, public hearings, open meetings, and referenda. The clerk is the custodian of the village’s books and records and historical documents. Other duties include tax collection, water sewer collection, FOIL requests, administering oaths of office, notary services, and providing oversight for the village’s website.
