Mayor

I have been Mayor since 2017. Prior to that I served on the Planning, Zoning, and Library Boards for many years. Round Lake is a special community, and I look forward to maintaining the traditions and culture that contribute to its uniqueness  in the years to come. 

Every year the Village hosts a variety of regional events: an Antiques Festival, the Markets at Round Lake, Night of Illumination, and a rich array of musical and other events at the Auditorium. There is also a DEC boat launch on the lake ( Round Lake ), as well as kayak rentals nearby. The Zim Smith, a paved multi-use county trail, runs through the Village and connects with Mechanicville and Ballston Spa. 

Village government consists of a mayor and four trustees. As Mayor, I preside at the meetings of the Board of Trustees, appoint all non-elected officers and employees, appoint individuals to fill vacancies in both elected and appointed offices, enforce and prosecute all violations of the laws, rules, and regulations, and execute all contracts in the Village's name.

Village Board meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month. Your attendance and participation is encouraged. Please make sure that the Village office has your email address, as we send out periodic Village updates via email.
