Village of Round Lake - Zim Smith Trail

The Zim Smith trail was created from the abandoned Delaware and Hudson railway that stretched through the Village north through Shenentaha Park to Ballston Spa and south through Mechanicville with a connection to the Champlain Canalway Trail, estimated to be completed in early spring 2020. The trail provides access to pedestrians, cyclists, rollerbladers and other non-motorized vehicles.
The Zim Smith Trail has been extended through the efforts of Saratoga County and provides an integral piece of a now county-wide trail system.
