About the Auditorium

Round Lake Auditorium is owned and operated by:
The Village of Round Lake, NY.
Mayor, Dixie Lee Sacks

Dear Patrons,

We are pleased to invite you to join us in the historic Village of Round Lake at the Round Lake Auditorium. Previous season offerings have included exciting and affordable artistic programs for everyone: Jazz, Silent Film, Theatre, Art, Open Mic Night, The Children's Cultural Initiative, Orchestral Music, Barbershop Quartet, An Evening of Dinner and Strings, Puppets, Wellness Lectures, Nature Programs, Shakespeare, and of course, Antique Organ Concerts...and much, much more. Your attendance at one or all of these events will directly impact the restoration and preservation of this local treasure which has recently received much national attention.

Dedicated in 1895, the Auditorium is the home of the 1,900-pipe Ferris Tracker Organ (1857), the oldest, unaltered organ of its kind in the U.S. The Auditorium is also one of 53 sites to have received the "Save America's Treasures" grant. Already a member of the League of Historic Theatres and the Organ Historical Society, Round Lake Auditorium is now under consideration by the National Park Service to be designated as a National Historic Landmark, and has been selected for catalogue by the National Architectural and Engineering Record.

Round Lake Auditorium is dedicated to providing excellent programming with low ticket prices. In fact, many are free! Still, we are faced with several necessary and immediate projects for preservation: exterior painting, woodwork, flooring, seating, tuning and more. Please help us to save this significant building and organ and to continue to produce quality programming at a low cost to the community. With your support, every single contribution, large or small, can make a huge difference for the future of Round Lake Auditorium.
